Congratulations to Julie Neubert who's historical documentary 'Elizabeth I's Secret Agents' has won an award!
At last night's Royal Television Society's ceremony, the program won an award in the History category.
Julie played Queen Elizabeth I in the series which aired on BBC2 in November 2017. It investigates the secret network behind the Queen's 40-year reign and the world's first secret service run by her spymasters Robert and William Cecil.
Nic Lamont will be appearing in her dark comedy duo The Twins Macabre with their new show Slay at the VAULT Festival.
In Slay, the sinister ten-year-olds siblings have been found guilty of hundreds of unimaginable murders… yet instead of being locked up, they have skyrocketted to an insane level of fame and celebrity! The duo bring their creepiness to the world of social media, reality TV and tiny handbag dogs.
The Twins have previously featured on BBC3 and BBC R4, and been described by the Telegraph as ‘Delightfully freaky.’

Olivia is bringing her Northern soul to Angels with Dirty Accents at the Cockpit Theatre.
The black comedy produced by RKID Productions which uses live music looks at the state of homelessness in our modern society.
In it, the angels are penniless, hopeless, sleeping rough in our city centres, ignored by passers-by, and waiting for their chance to get into heaven.

'Break a leg' to our Jess Flood and the cast of Arnika which opened last weekend.
The production by Theatre Voliere is set in 1950's Alsace and uses inventive physicality and mask work.
In it, a small rural community comes to terms with its dark years under Nazi annexation. The villagers are unsettled when a Commissaire arrives from Paris to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young resistance fighter, and the unity of the village slowly begins to unravel.

David Sayers' production of 'This Story of Yours' finished at the White Bear Theatre on Saturday. Although a gritty, dark and difficult play the reviews were excellent for all the performances and David's direction. Here are a few:
The Stage: ‘Sayers’ concise direction maintains pace and tension and a faintly disturbing soundtrack of period pop fused with police radio broadcasts lends an eerie sense of foreboding to an already dark piece of theatre.’

Filmed in late 2016 Sam Johnson's 'Earthy Encounters' harks back to 80's films like 'ET' in the same way that 'Stranger Things' does. Featuring David Sayers as a shady government agent this short film will be hitting the festival circuit soon. Check out the poster and trailer.

Revolution: This intense Game/Theatre experience is resident in the Vaults for the duration of the festival in a brand new VAULT venue.

The Festival runs from mid January to mid March in the Vaults below Waterloo station.
It's been a busy December for David Sayers as he directs and performs in Time and Tide Theatre Company's production of 'This Story of Yours'. Written by John Hopkins in 1968 the play deals with the repercussions of a brutal police interrogation and was adapted into a cult film called 'The Offence' in the early 1970's starring Sean Connery.
The production will run at the White Bear Theatre in South London from the 9th-27th January and tickets are available here. Make sure you come along and check it out. It promises to be an intense and enthralling evening of theatre!
