Alpha actor and one of our founding members, Angus Kennedy, plays a grumpy Heathrow cop in an American feature film with the title of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight from the book by Jennifer E. Smith. Directed by Vanessa Casswell and starring Hayley Lou Richardson, the romantic plot involves a young Englishman meeting a young woman from the USA at JFK on their way to the UK.
Set over a 24 hour period, the four minutes of their meeting changes the course of both their lives.
Angus has had a bumber 2021 with two other screen jobs in the can. He recently played the British Prime Minister in the new Amazon series The Power and the 1789 tavern landlord in the TV series of the Neil Gaiman graphic novel The Sandman for Netflix.

Apha actor’s Tim Goodman plays Stanley Johnson, the father of prime minister Boris in epsiode 2 of the 5 episode series ‘This Sceptered Isle’ to be aired on Sky Atlantic in autumn 2022. Boris Johnson is played by a wig wearing, heavily padded Kenneth Branagh.
Tim spent most of his time between scenes improvising in character with him. It is directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Silent Dove’s latest film, the comedy short Ex’s Anonymous, featuring an all female ensemble cast including our own Abi McLoughlin (Top right), is now in post production. These pictures have been released to get us all excited! We can’t wait to have a giggle with the girls when the film comes out later this year.
Misfits, written by Lekha Desai Morrsion, has been nominated in the category of Best Stage Production at the Asian Media Awards which take place on 29th October. Talented young actor, Emily Millwood will be in ‘KISS HER’ playing at the Cockpit and The Camden People’s Theatre as part of this years’ Camden Festival Fringe.
‘Kiss her,’ the debut play from Theatre Company Jack the Lass, is a play that sets out “to re-write the narratives, the history and the rules of lesbian fiction.” The story unfolds through different time periods and aims to correct history when it comes to gay women.
