Highlights: A fabluous Shakepearean actor, Becky played Banquo in 'Macbeth' at The New Wimbledon Studio to rave reviews and made a heartbreaking Juliet with the Young Shakespeare Company.

Becky is an imaginative and character lead actor who loves performing classical work as well as being part of new productions. She enjoys playing plucky and uptight characters, utilising her wide playing range and physical movement skills - Most recently playing the torturer in the war drama One Rainy Wish.

Other work includes: Beatrix Potter in Alan Ayckbourn’s musical play 'Where is Peter Rabbit?' at The Old Laundry Theatre; A sword-wheedling Banquo in 'Macbeth' at The New Wimbledon Studio for which she received the reviews: ‘The standout directorial decision is undoubtedly the casting of Becky Black as Banquo. A badass from the first… Black is captivating in her performance.’ - London Theatre 1, and ‘Black is a formidable presence onstage… she is an absolute, adaptable delight.’ - A Younger Theatre. A spellbinding Sharkespearean, she has also played Juliet in 'Romeo and Juliet' with The Young Shakespeare Company and an indignant, ‘Rah’ Lady Bracknell in Rebecca Fracknal’s modern production of The Importance of Being Earnest for one of her final year shows at Mountview.

Becky has also co-produced and featured in ‘Hope in a Box’ short film, which screened at over twenty worldwide film festivals and won Mark Kermode's Best of the Fest award at The Isle of Man Film Festival. After she played a determined and earnest PC Wilson along side Goldy Notay in Pretty Bonnets short film that went on to screen at BAFTA and Oscar accredited festivals.

Becky originally trained as a dancer at the age of 16 after which she acquired her first professional performing gigs including dancer/singer at the Sensatori Resorts in Crete and Mexico. Back in London she went on to discovered a love of pure acting attending classes at the Actors Centre and performing in many fringe productions. She decided to learn her craft further and commit to studying Acting on the 3 year course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in which she received a 1st class degree.

Becky enjoys taking on active new challenges - she competed in a Boxing exhibition match and most recently choreographed a tap routine for a 1920s event at Burgh Island!
