Rebecca Semark
A versatile and talented actress, Rebecca Semark is someone whose theatrical
career has undergone something of an artistic metamorphosis. She originally
trained as a dancer at Arts Educational School, Tring, then switched to Drama
and Musical Theatre at Arts Ed, London.
Starting as a dancer, Rebecca gradually moved onto musical theatre roles, being
a Kit Kat girl in a production of Cabaret, and eventually onto other character
roles like Josie, the lead role in Steaming, Nancy in a touring production of
Oliver, Cilla in Strippers at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester and Carmen in
Sweet Charity at Haymarket, Basingstoke.
On television Rebecca has played PC Peters in ITV's The Squad and Margaret in
Billy for BBC Drama. She also played Rita in Happy End as well as Sally in A
Chance To Sit Down, both for the BBC.
