Emma MacLennan
Emma MacLennan is a Rose Bruford trained actress specialising in physical and devised theatre. Petite and pixie-like with big eyes and a shock of curly hair, she has unsurprisingly found herself a niche in theatre aimed at family audiences, touring the globe with companies such as Tall Stories and White Horse Theatre. Most recently she put a number of these skills to use playing Coco the Clown, a street performer in Edinburgh as part of the Fringe First winning piece 'You Once Said Yes'.

Emma is passionate about creating new theatrical experiences in unconventional settings, as mirrored by her work in pervasive gaming and with immersive theatre company Punchdrunk. She has also starred as Peter Pan at the Theatre Royal Winchester, and played Juliet in Romeo & Juliet and Ariel in The Tempest for Say Two Productions. Emma has extensive experience leading workshops in physical approaches to Shakespearian and classical texts, and a keen interest in puppetry and circus skills.
