Elliot James
A fine actor with an enigmatic look, something between a leading man and a Bohemian artist, Elliot James has taken a very interesting journey in becoming a professional actor. Born and raised in London, Elliot originally spent three years at Brunel University studying film, after which he took two years out. The first year he spent working for a carnival in Santa Cruz, California and the second year he worked as a runner on film sets in Vancouver. It was this experience which brought into focus his desire to be an actor rather than a runner. On his return to London he enrolled at The Academy, where he did the two year course, playing a variety of roles including Mozart in Amadeus, Estragon in Waiting For Godot, Kasperin in Loves Labours Lost and Leonard in The Cherry Orchard.

After graduating, Elliot threw himself into a whirlwind of mostly stage productions touring the British Isles as well as the Continent. He played William Hogarth in The Art Of Success, Lord Ingram in a No.1 tour of Jane Eyre, Anton Chekov in Ward Six, Ed in Polar Bears and Justin in Lies Told To Children.

Television work includes playing Sydney in ITV's Rebus and PC Allen in Tableaux Of Love which he describes as an Iranian equivalent of The Bill.He recently returned from France and Sweden where he was playing a variety of Shakesperian characters including Macbeth, Hamlet and Richard II in a touring production entitled Shakespeare And Tragedy.
