Alastair Hudson
A native Scot, originally from Glasgow, Alastair trained at London Studio Centre and worked successfully for many years as a musical theatre performer and commercial dancer, he then went on to do post graduate acting studies at Drama Studio London.

Tall and physically fit - a very solid Scottish all rounder. Alastair is an ideal choice for tough guy roles and he is equally at home playing hairdressers. He has worked as a stand up comedian in and around London in what he describes as 'various upholstered sewers', with 'varying degrees of effectiveness'.

Selected credits include the title role in the Canadian classic Hosanna, directed by Kelly Thornton in London and Toronto, Mac in Kilt, directed by Norman Scott at the Cottier Theatre, Glasgow, Bill in The Long Goodbye, directed by Ian Dewar and Shere Kahn in The Jungle Book.

Alastair was recently seen playing a scene with Ken Stott in an episode of Rebus. He also has his own training company and works internationally as a seminar leader and coach. (www.ayedear.com).
